Job Description
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a collaborative care team at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California. This 1099 opportunity focuses on non-OR anesthesia (NORA) cases, including endoscopy, cath lab, and interventional radiology, within a large, well-supported acute care hospital.
CRNAs will provide direct anesthesia services and are expected to work 100% clinically. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication with the onsite Medical Director, and adherence to established safety, policy, and procedural protocols. Flexible per-diem scheduling is available, supporting work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for NORA cases including endoscopy, cath lab, and interventional radiology
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care in a high-volume hospital setting
- Collaborate with peers and communicate with the onsite Medical Director regarding safety and protocols
Compensation & Benefits
- $190 per hour
- 1099 independent contractor
- 46 weeks of service with 6 weeks unpaid time off

Job Requirements
- Active California state license
- DEA and State CDS
- Board certification required
- Minimum of 2 years CRNA experience
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
