PRN CRNA – Independent Practice with Block Proficiency

Job Description

A busy multispecialty surgery center in Orange County, CA, is seeking an experienced PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its all-CRNA team. This role requires strong block proficiency and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment. Cases include general, orthopedic, and urology procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia care for general, orthopedic, and urology cases
• Perform regional anesthesia and nerve blocks with proficiency
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Independently manage all aspects of anesthesia care in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Ensure accurate documentation and collaborate with the surgical team for optimal patient care

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive PRN compensation up to $1,400 per day
• 1099 independent contractor model
• Monday through Saturday schedule flexibility
• All CRNA-only practice model with professional autonomy

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification and California state licensure
• Proficiency in regional blocks required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient surgical center
• Strong communication and patient-care skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN position, Monday through Saturday availability
• No call responsibilities
• All CRNA-only practice model
• High-volume, fast-paced outpatient surgical setting
