Job Description

Azura Vascular Care (a division of Fresenius Medical Care) is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support minimally invasive vascular procedures in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting. This role provides autonomous CRNA practice with a weekday schedule and no nights, weekends, or call. Practice Environment

This is an outpatient vascular care center environment focused on minimally invasive vascular interventions. The CRNA practices independently (no medical direction listed) while collaborating with the multidisciplinary procedural team to ensure safe, evidence-based anesthesia and peri-anesthetic care.

Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope

• Outpatient vascular procedures
• Major vascular anesthesia focus
• Regional anesthesia techniques utilized as needed
• Airway management and procedural sedation/anesthesia as clinically indicated

Schedule & Workload

• PRN position
• Monday–Friday schedule
• No call
• No nights
• No weekends
• May require 10–15% travel primarily during business hours (occasional overnight travel possible)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain informed consent, and develop anesthesia care plans
• Select and administer anesthetics, adjuvant medications, fluids, and supportive agents
• Perform equipment safety checks and manage anesthesia supplies
• Administer anesthesia/sedation, manage airways, and maintain peri-procedural stability
• Monitor patient condition, maintain time-based records, and adjust care as needed
• Manage emergence and recovery, provide follow-up care, and discharge from post-anesthesia recovery
• Implement pain management strategies including regional techniques as applicable
• Respond to emergencies with airway, cardiovascular, and respiratory support
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and facility policies

Compensation & Employment Structure

• Employment model: W-2
• Pay range: $150.00–$250.00 per hour (dependent on location and qualifications)
• No call-related compensation required due to no-call structure

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
• Active, appropriate state licensure and compliance with applicable CRNA regulations
• NBCRNA certification required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Must be insurable for malpractice coverage limits required by the institution/state
• Experience: 5 years CRNA experience preferred; posting references 8–12 years related experience or equivalent
