Job Description
Parkway Endoscopy Center in Escondido, California is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN opportunity with a predictable, set weekly schedule. This role is ideal for CRNAs looking for consistent outpatient work without the demands of call, nights, or weekends. The position is part of a CRNA-only anesthesia model focused exclusively on GI procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-procedure patient evaluations and review medical history
- Develop and administer individualized sedation plans for GI procedures
- Manage and monitor patient airways throughout procedures
- Provide intra-procedural anesthesia care in a CRNA-only model
- Oversee patient recovery and ensure safe post-procedure transitions
- Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and records
- Adhere to safety, quality, and patient satisfaction standards
Practice Details
- Practice setting: Outpatient endoscopy center
- Case type: GI only
- Practice model: CRNA-only
- Schedule: Set Wednesdays
- Center hours: Monday–Friday
- No call, no nights, no weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- Employment status: 1099 independent contractor
- Professional liability insurance provided for 1099 CRNAs

Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation
- Active, unrestricted RN license in California
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of one year experience as a CRNA
- Strong ethical and professional standards
- Basic computer skills
