PRN Weekend CRNA – Outpatient Ortho & Spine Surgery in Palm Desert

West Coast Surgery is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN weekend position at its outpatient surgery center in Palm Desert, California. This opportunity is ideal for CRNAs looking to supplement their income with predictable, high-paying Saturday shifts in a low-drama, outpatient-only environment.
Coverage is needed for one to two Saturdays per month, making this role well-suited for local providers or those seeking occasional weekend work without weekday commitments. The practice focuses on outpatient orthopedic and spine procedures, and the CRNA will function in a fully independent role without anesthesiologist medical direction.
Candidates must be confident managing outpatient orthopedic and spine anesthesia independently and be comfortable working autonomously in an ASC setting. There is no call, no overnight responsibility, and no post-call obligations associated with this position. Cases are scheduled and predictable, allowing for efficient workflow and timely completion of the surgical day.
Compensation ranges from $2,000 to $3,000 per day, depending on case volume and complexity. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. The start date is November 1, 2025, and the position is considered a definite ongoing need.
