Job Description

The Center for Specialty Surgery in Austin, Texas, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. This position focuses on pain, orthopedic, and neurological cases, with no call, evenings, or weekend work. CPIhealth offers a collaborative environment for healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive pain management and anesthesia care.

The CRNA will work closely with physicians and medical professionals at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), administering intravenous sedation, MAC (monitored anesthesia care), and general anesthesia for a range of surgical procedures, including pain, orthopedics, neurology, ophthalmology, and plastics.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Up to 24 hours per pay period
• No call, evenings, or weekends

• Cases: Pain management, orthopedics, neurology, ophthalmology, and plastics
• Model: Independent CRNA Practice
• Core Responsibilities: Pre-operative assessment, anesthesia administration, intra-operative management, and post-anesthesia care

Job Requirements

• Credentialed as an Independent Licensed Practitioner (ILP) at ASCs
• Advanced Practice Nurse Provider (APNP) certification and license
• Active state licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse (RN) and APRN in nurse anesthetist category
• National Board of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification
• Current ACLS and BCLS certification
• Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills
