CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for weekend-only coverage. This is a hospital-employed W-2 opportunity designed for CRNAs who prefer predictable weekend work within a large, collaborative anesthesia department.

CRNAs practice in a medically directed care team model and support a diverse hospital-based case mix. The role offers structured weekend shifts with no weekday, call, or overnight obligations beyond the scheduled shift windows. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for hospital-based surgical cases on weekends
• Practice within a medically directed anesthesia care team
• Support a mixed case load including general, orthopedic, OB, and trauma cases
• Perform arterial line placement as needed
• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care during scheduled shifts

Compensation & Benefits

• PRN hourly rate of $200 per hour
• Estimated $1,600–$2,400 per day depending on shift length
• Weekend differential of $16 per hour
• Evening differential of $12 per hour (3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
• Night differential of $14 per hour (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
• W-2 hospital-employed position
• Employer-paid malpractice insurance ($1M / $3M)

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Texas CRNA licensure or eligibility
• NBCRNA certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required

Schedule & Work Environment

• PRN, weekend-only position
• Shift options: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• No first or second call responsibilities
• Hospital-based anesthesia practice
